The evenings at WILD9 are dedicated to celebrating wild nature through engaging cultural events, films, art exhibits, announcements and more.  On the opening day of the Congress (6 November), delegates are invited to a special Mexican evening, featuring wilderness announcements and an official introduction to Tierras Silvestres followed by dancing and music.  President Felipe Calderon of Mexico, honorary host of WILD9, will welcome delegates to Mexico.  Other evening events feature multi-media presentations by the iLCP, body painting, the iLCP award presentation, music and more!

12-Shots

November 9-11th starting at 9pm at Fiesta Americana. During WILD9, iLCP will be hosting a cocktail hour and photo exhibit to encourage networking with iLCP members. We invite photographers to submit their '12 shot' essay to WILD9. The theme has to be related to wild nature, conservation, climate change or other aspects of our planet's natural history. Human juxtaposition with nature is also welcome. A committee will review submissions and selected essays will be shown during the evening photography sessions.
