The following is a summary overview of WILD 9 sponsor opportunities and benefits. More details will be available, as the program continues to evolve.
WILD 9 SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS LIST
Lead Sponsor $500,000
Lead sponsor has the primary naming rights (first named), ability to host the opening reception, and right to use all national and international WILD 9 marketing activities as collaborative public relations opportunities. For example, name appearing on any WILD 9 advertisements (all media); in association with pre WILD 9 sporting, educational, or social events, etc. In addition all benefits of Patron also.
Patrons: $200,000 and above
Patrons receive six registrations and top billing immediately under the lead sponsor in the WILD 9 brochure and program, on the website, in media alerts and press releases, and in the published proceedings (of which they will receive six complimentary copies). They also receive complimentary exhibit space in the Congress foyer or a place of their choosing (as available) in WILD 9 EXPO. Further, a representative can chair an appropriate session or moderate a panel during a plenary session, as agreed with the Executive Committee.
Benefactors: $100,000 and above
Benefactors receive four registrations and acknowledgement as a Benefactor in the WWC brochure and program, on the website, and in media alerts and press releases, as well as in the published proceedings (of which they receive four complimentary copies). They also receive a complimentary booth (8’ X 10’) at WILD 9 EXPO. Should a Benefactor associate its name with a particular WWC theme, a representative may make remarks during a related public program session.
Funder: $50,000 and above
Contributors receive three registrations and acknowledgement as a Contributor in the Congress brochure and program, on the website, in media alerts and press releases, as well as in the published proceedings (of which they receive two complimentary copies).
Supporters: $25,000 and above
Supporters receive two registrations and acknowledgement as a Supporter in the Congress brochure and program, on the website, as well as in the published proceedings (of which they receive a complimentary copy).
Donors: $10,000 and above
Donors receive one registration, will be acknowledged in the Congress program, proceedings (and one copy), and on the website.
Contributor: $1,000 and above
Contributors are acknowledged in the Congress program and on the website.
Program sponsorship covers the costs of planning and implementing Plenary Sessions, Scientific Symposia, Technical Meetings, and/or Public Workshops related to a particular theme at the 8th Congress. Examples of Special Event Sponsorships
Opening Night Reception (on the first day of the Congress) – “Welcome” reception for all delegates, speakers, sponsors, and dignitaries. This reception will be “named” for the sponsor, if desired.
WILD9 EXPO – This public exposition will run during the opening weekend and be open to the public and delegates, concurrent with Congress plenary sessions, presenting all aspects of using and experiencing wilderness and wildlands. It will consist of displays and demonstrations by artists, recreational equipment companies, tour operators, natural resource companies, conservation agencies and organizations from around the world, and others. Sponsor(s) will receive significant local coverage in newspapers, advertisements, and marketing materials.
WILD9 Nature Film Festival – Organized in association with WildScreen (UK) this documentary film festival will travel to numerous Mexican destinations in the months preceding WILD 9, and then be shown during the Congress.
